The last chance qualifier brought us a taste of what the quality of the teams of the Major will bring us, with many exciting and crazy matches. Rivals from the European Regional League and Ikszet from the Polish Regional League are the 2 teams qualified, but we saw some exciting performances from the other teams as well, which unfortunately, fell short and will not be playing the second season of the Ball3D Major. Here is a deeper look into the Minor:

Virtus Fight Club

Virtus Fight Club were coming very well after a surprise 5th place in the European Regional League, with their defense quality being top notch and there were many expectations for the Italian team. They were placed against Paradox Gaming Base in the first match, match where they fell short due to a very good performance from Revinski, and the pressure getting to them, not allowing them to perform as well as usual.

Paradox Gaming Base

Paradox Gaming Base, the academy team of the surprise team of the last major Paradox Gaming, got into the minor after a very balanced league where they almost reached the direct qualification. In their first match against VFC, they were able to surpass the Italian wall with a very good attacking performance. In the last match, in the fight for qualification, we saw the Brazilian team struggling to score against Rivals and ending up losing the match in a 5 to 2 score.

Rivals

Rivals did a very impressive league, with Adakz and Treze showing up as a fierce striking duo, leading their team to the minor. In the first match against |99|, the team led by Treze was very much superior and were able to conquer a solid victory with an hattrick from Adakz. In the qualification match against the Brazilian team of Paradox Gaming Base, Rivals were also superior and able to dominate the game throughout the match, after another hattrick from the usual suspect Adakz.

|99|

|99| came to the minor after placing 6th in the league down to the wire, so it was expected that it would be a hard task for the team from Argentina. Being placed against Rivals in the first match, and an overwhelming Adakz, it was hard for |99| to find their pace and to keep themselves in the fight for the slot in the Major. They ended up losing the match 8 to 5 and being eliminated from the Major.

IksZet

After a forfeit from zcy Clan and a free pass to the semi-finals of the minor, IksZet that placed 4th in the Polish league were going to face the title holders of the previous edition of the Ball3D Major PECADORES. With one of the best matches provided ever in the Ball3D filled with ups and downs, IksZet managed to eliminate the Turkish team in the golden goal, after a great performance from both Dvvmz and Ludz, giving their team the slot in the Major

Sounds Good

Sounds Good placed 5th in the Polish League and were faced against PECADORES in their first match of the minor, a though draw for the team led by Rise. With an amazing match, where Sounds Good provided a very good confrontation to the title holders, it was not enough for the Polish team, ending up falling short after a great performance from Wonderful. The match ended 5 to 4 and with this, Sounds Good were out of the Ball3D Major.

PECADORES

The title holders were surprisingly pushed into the Minor after a league filled with problems for the team, however, they were not going to give up before achieving qualification. After a very competitive match against Sounds Good, it was clear that PECADORES did not yet find the pace they used to have in the first match, however, it was enough to reach victory. In the semi-finals, facing IksZet, a harder task was ahead of them, with XZ fighting for their spot, making PECADORES respect them a lot. The match was filled with up and downs, and after 32 minutes of game played (in golden goal) and an auto-goal from Samco, the Turkish team was surprisingly eliminated from the Ball3D Major.
